About Gregori Palumbo
The Evolution of a Musician
Gregori Palumbo, a Juilliard-trained composer and pianist, has dedicated his life to music, crafting powerful stories through sound. His work spans film, television, and contemporary songwriting, blending classical artistry with modern innovation across multiple genres.
Splitting his time between Los Angeles and New York, Gregori’s musical journey has shaped a diverse catalog of original work. From evocative film scores to soulful pop performances as Gregory Cash, his compositions captivate listeners, inviting them into rich, emotional landscapes.
Interestingly, Gregori only discovered the original spelling of his name on his 21st birthday when his mother who was born and raised in Naples, Italy gifted him a gold ID bracelet she had made when he was born. Looking at it, he said, “Mom, this is beautiful, but you misspelled my name.” She replied, “I didn’t misspell your name—that’s the way we spell it in Italy, it’s the real way to spell your name.”
This unexpected revelation became a reminder of his roots, shaping not just his name but also his journey as an artist—one constantly evolving, redefining, and rediscovering itself through music.
